What kind of gas does do your mobile units carry?
The mobile unitscarry Natural Gas, the same gas that flows in the pipelines of your gas utility.
Can you connect your mobile unit to the meter in my building?
Yes, we partner with your gas utility to provide gas to your building through the meter and regulators provided by your gas utility. In the event that yourgas utility does not have a regulator readyfor your building, we can provide one, so there is no delay in providing gas to your building. Our service does not need a meter when you hire us directly to provide your gas. You can also hire us directly. We do not compete with gas utilities, we partner with them by providing a mobile service where their pipelines don’t reach.
Is Natural Gas the same as Propane?
No, they are very different gases. Propane is always more expensive than Natural Gas since it is man-made and Natural Gas is naturally occurring. Natural Gas is usually distributed to consumers via pipelines as a vapor (gas) and Propane is a liquid distributed via truck to locations not serviced by Natural Gas pipelines, usually rural areas. Propane is vaporized as needed for consumption and Natural Gas is always in gas form when distributed by pipeline and in our mobile gas units. Natural Gas is usually safer than Propane since it is lighter than air and it does not accumulate in open areas.
